Bob Capes –
John R. (Bob) Capes
Bob graduated from Wofford College in 1956 with a degree in Business
Administration. After a brief stay in the Army, Bob was employed by
Southern Bell in the Traffic Department for eight years. Bob joined Tom
Jenkins Realty where he remained until 1965 before organizing Bob Capes Realty.
Bob Capes Realty eventually acquired a Century 21 franchise and became
Century 21 Bob Capes Realtors. In 2001, Bob sold his remaining interest in
Century 21 Bob Capes Realtors to his longtime partner James W. Derrick,
Jr. In 1998, Bob organized Bob Capes Property Management along with two
partners. Bob is currently licensed with Bob Capes Property Management
and Sales, and remains very active in the operations of the company. Bob
was the 1994 Realtor of the year. Bob said that he has always enjoyed
representing Buyers and Sellers; as well as, bringing new agents into the
business and watching them prosper.
Linda Crocker, Broker REALTOR
Linda Crocker, a native Columbia, South Carolinian, graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Human and Behavioral Sciences. She was a district manager with one of the nation’s largest property management firms. After selling her own home – For Sale by Owner-she fell in love with real estate. She joined Bob Capes Realtors in the mid nineties and has enjoyed the realtor life ever since!
